Loma is a land where everyone has minor magical abilities, and they aren’t considered special (since everyone has them). Not only do people have magic, but so do many of the animals.
The Cragwoods is a country in Loma that is covered with wild forests, steep mountains, and an almost overwhelming number of dangerous animals. For this reason, people have built treehouses and paths through the huge trees. Their whole communities are in the trees.

What is next in the Wind series?
Book 1 is called Wind and the Rocs. This book follows Caes Wind as he deals with a family tragedy, and later finds himself lost in the wilds of the Cragwoods, as he tries to find his way home.
Book 2 will be called Wind and Magic, and follows Caes as he discovers more of his abilities and learns his role in Westvale. Wind and Magic is expected to be available in the summer of 2025.
These will be followed by a third book, tentatively titled Wind and War.
